The Tor Softshell jacket is an equivalent of the Level 5 jacket from the PCU kit (Protective Combat Uniform - clothing used in the US Special Forces). Designed for bad weather, mid-season wear, or use in areas with wide temperature ranges. It protects against wind and light rain. You can layer up to three layers of basewear underneath, including fleece. The fit does not interfere with gear. The hood has a relaxed cut, allowing it to be worn over a helmet.
