The HEXS Chest Pads are 10.5mm EVA spacer pads for the front and back plate panels of a plate carrier. The hexagonal honeycomb geometry opens airflow channels in four directions, so heat and moisture actually escape instead of pooling under your kit. At 200g per pair, the thermal upgrade costs nothing you will feel on the scale. Ballistic testing put the pads inside a plate-and-soft-armor stack and confirmed back-face deformation stayed within allowable limits, so your plates still do their job.
