The A-23 Aylet is a shoulder protection module with an enlarged rear profile engineered to account for body anatomy, adding ballistic coverage to the lateral zones without constraining arm movement. If the Terminator had a gear list, shoulder protection that adjusts while you're wearing it would be on it, and that's exactly what the hook-and-loop height strap delivers. The design ships in two fill options: aramid for proven fragment resistance, UHMWPE for a lighter package at the same protection class. Your kit decides; the mount makes it fast.

The A-23 Aylet mounts to most plate carriers via a universal hook-and-loop attachment strap. The height-adjustable strap lets you position the module for different vest heights and shoulder pad configurations. A non-ballistic training variant is available; ballistic fill is permanent and cannot be added or swapped later. Compatible with the A-18 Skanda Plate Carrier, A-24 Titan 2.0 Plate Carrier, AAPC Mod.3 Plate Carrier, and most carriers with a standard hook-and-loop shoulder interface.
