The A-22 Half Harness Insert is the structural adapter that unlocks telescoping strut compatibility on non-chassis carriers. Without it, the Ars Arma weight distribution system simply cannot connect to the A-18 Skanda or the Goliath-D series. That's not a design flaw, it's a design decision. The insert bridges the carrier's cummerbund to the strut mount points, rerouting the carrier's weight down to your hip belt rather than letting your traps absorb it all afternoon. The A-22 Half Harness Insert installs into the cummerbund channels of the A-18 Skanda and A-18 Goliath-D plate carriers. Once installed, the carrier becomes compatible with the StKSS 2.0 Telescopic Supports (sold separately), which route the carrier's weight down to the A-19 Atlas Belt or A-24 Needletail Belt. The insert is not required on chassis carriers (A-24 Titan 2.0, AAPC Mod.3, A-25 Beast), which connect struts directly to their frame. Elastic cord fixation limiters, included in the set, install under the rear plate bag flap and secure the cummerbund in position. Their installation is mandatory.
