Design
The A-25 Hype Plate Bags are the foundation of the A-25 Hype modular platform, a front-and-rear pair that anchors every Hype configuration from minimal to full kit. At 800 g, this pair accepts SAPI/ESAPI plates in Medium and Large, plus Titan-series soft ballistic packages. Every Hype build starts here.
Somewhere between a bare-bones slick setup and a full kit warehouse, these plate bags let you configure up from zero: add cummerbunds, panels, shoulder pads, and side protection as your loadout demands (all sold separately). Low-profile shoulder straps keep the rig tight for concealed carry. The front bag accepts MOLLE flaps and Hype-system panels (sold separately), while the rear bag runs zippers for industry-standard Zip-On panels (sold separately). Shoulder buckles mount on either side. Swap them for AustriAlpin Cobra (Austria) buckles or pull them entirely. 800 g for a front/back pair. That is where the build starts.

- Universal placard interface / compatible with G-Hook, ITW QASM, and industry-standard attachment points.
- Tegris USA-made composite cummerbunds / rigid lateral support from Tegris composite material. Accepts both skeletal and Velcro-mounted cummerbund options.
- Reactive shock-cord cummerbund / auto-adjusts to breathing, posture, and movement. Maintains consistent fit without manual retightening.
- Soft armor in plate bags and cummerbunds / soft armor panels extend fragmentation protection beyond the hard plate footprint. Both plate bags and cummerbunds accept inserts.
- Low-profile shoulder straps / minimal stack height for concealed carry setups or running slick under a jacket. Fastex or AustriAlpin Cobra (Austria) buckle mounting options.
- Industry-standard Zip-On back panel / accepts rear panels from the broader Zip-On ecosystem.

The A-25 Hype Plate Bags accept SAPI/ESAPI plates in Medium and Large. Titan-series soft ballistic packages also install in the plate bags.

System Integration
The A-25 Hype Plate Bags connect to the full A-25 Hype component lineup. All accessories attach to these plate bags as the base layer.
Cummerbunds (sold separately): Attach A-25 Hype Slim Cummerbund (Pair) or A-25 Hype Wide Cummerbund (Pair) for side closure and soft armor capacity.
Front panels (sold separately): Install the A-25 Hype Front Panel on the front bag for placard and equipment mounting.
Chest panel (sold separately): Add the A-25 Hype Chest Panel for a rigid placard mounting surface.
Rear panel (sold separately): Mount the A-25 Hype Zip-On Back Panel on the rear bag via the industry-standard Zip-On interface.
Shoulder pads (sold separately): Fit A-25 Hype Shoulder Pads to the straps for comfort and upper-body armor module compatibility.
Side protection (sold separately): Add the A-25 Hype Side Protection Kit (Pair) for lateral coverage. Ballistic inserts not included.
Load transfer (sold separately): The Hype is a non-chassis system. To use telescoping struts with a battle belt, add the A-22 Half Harness Insert (Pair) — it provides the structural bridge between the bags and the struts. Pair with the A-24 Needletail Belt or A-19 Atlas Belt.
Ballistic protection modules (sold separately): Compatible with A-21 Gorzhet Neck Protection, A-22 Plantain Abdominal Protection, A-21 Clover Groin Protection, A-23 Aylet Shoulder Protection, and A-18 ARS Groin Protection.
